Andrew “Tommy” Thompson
Andrew “Tommy” Thompson is an active-duty Marine Raider planning to retire in May 2026 after more than 21 years of distinguished service in the United States Marine Corps. His assignments include 1st and 3rd Reconnaissance Battalions, 1st Marine Raider Battalion, and U.S. Special Operations Command. He has deployed extensively to Afghanistan, Iraq, and throughout the Pacific.
In 2021, Tommy and his wife Shana, along with their two Belgian Malinois, relocated from Camp Pendleton, California, to Saint Petersburg, Florida. Shana has built a successful career as a talented photographer, applying her skills in the non-profit sector.
When not spending time with his wife and daughter, Tommy enjoys the outdoors and takes every opportunity to hunt and fish. One of his most cherished military memories is his time stationed on Okinawa, where he spent his free time diving the vibrant surrounding reefs with friends.
