FORCE BLUE BOD Names New Chair; Co-Founders Start Advisory Board

Fortress Investment Group’s Head of Real Estate Investment, David Moson, was named Chairman of FORCE BLUE’s Board of Directors earlier this month, taking over for dive industry legend Dan Orr, who, together with FORCE BLUE Co-Founders Keith Sahm and Rudy Reyes, will be moving to establish the organization’s new Advisory Board.

Moson, an avid diver and staunch veterans advocate, has served on FORCE BLUE’s board since 2023. He joins other long-time board members Ryan McCombie (Treasurer), Carl Plefger (Secretary), and newcomer Jim Papineau as the organization looks to build leadership for its “second decade of success.”

“Since his tenure with FORCE BLUE began, David has answered the call,” said Executive Director / Co-Founder Jim Ritterhoff. “Whether it is pitching in with the team on a coral restoration mission, or pitching table sponsors for our annual gala, David has always been there for us. And we are delighted to see him rise to the position of board chairman.”
