The criteria to be considered for inclusion in Force Blue, all veteran candidates must be able to demonstrate and verify the following: a) graduate of Military Trained Diver School, b) no longer on active duty, c) must have been part of a Special Operation Unit, d) took place in at least one combat deployment. In addition to making themselves available for Force Blue Dive Operations, each team member must be willing to continue their training and to assist in the training of new recruits. They must agree to participate in counseling, to engage in Force Blue public relations and community outreach efforts and to advocate on behalf of marine conservation and veterans’ issues. If you feel you meet this criteria and Force Blue is still of interest you, complete this application and you will then be placed in a selection process and considered for training. Each Candidate must be willing to commit for 6 weeks in support of Force Blue Operation through out one calendar year.
The continued success of our mission is due to our team of dedicated divers, supporters and volunteers. As an Assistant Scientific Diver you will work alongside our Team and become a long-term volunteer. This is a full immersive experience. You can expect to help in many aspect of reef conservation and restoration activities. Please complete this application so we can ensure we don't waste your time and we are able to assess which available project might be a good fit for your skills and availability.
