FORCE BLUE Salutes Health Care Professionals, Partners with TEAM 5
(Montauk, NY) – On March 30th, FORCE BLUE released “A FORCE BLUE Salute”, a short film thanking those doctors, nurses, health care workers and first responders serving on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. The film, which features a dozen FORCE BLUE team members extending their personal thanks from across the country — and as far away as Marrakesh, Morocco — launched on FORCE BLUE’s website and social media channels and will be shared with FORCE BLUE partners across both the veterans and scientific communities.
“As an organization predicated upon continued service and fighting for a cause greater than ourselves, FORCE BLUE believe it’s important for our health care professionals and first responders hear from us now,” said Jim Ritterhoff, FORCE BLUE Executive Director, “And to understand, in humble words, how much their sacrifice means to us.”
As part of FORCE BLUE’s efforts to show support for America’s frontline health care professionals during this critical time, the organization will be donating 50% of the net proceeds raised from the sale of FORCE BLUE Skeleton Optics™ sunglasses between now and June 1st to the TEAM 5 Medical Foundation.
